My husband and I went to Billy Parlin to get some legal help with some debts we had that we did not think were ours because of identity theft. Billy refered us to Briley Richmond who works in his office some times. Briley Richmond charged us $2500 cash money in front to start working on our case. We gave him all of our papers and bills we had gotten for the credit cards someone else used in our names. Mr. Richmond never did anything. Not any thing at all. He never called the credit card companys, or did any thing else for us. Everytime we call he says to give him a week or two and that has been for over a year. Nothing has been done at all. We tried to buy a house and can't because these false bills are on our credit.
We asked Briley Richmond for our file back last week and he says he can't find it and even tried to tell us he never had it. I know he had it because I gave it to him. At this point I am ready to file a BAR COMPLAINT!!!!! Please do not give this man your money or for sure your papers. You wil never see either again.

Hello, I too have been scamed by this individual. I am filing one now. It would be helpful if you do file a bar complaint. It would show the Mississippi Bar that he is doing this continuously without regards to the ethical code he vowed to uphold. Thank you

I had the same problem with Briley Richmond. He has lost my entire file and I have to go to court without any of my papers and letters I need for my case. I paid him and now had to pay another lawyer. She is trying to reconstruct all of my file but some of it is impossible to replace. I don't know yet how bad my case has been hurt but I think it is pretty bad. I trusted Briley Richmond with the originals of all of my papers and he lost them. When I started calling him about them he stopped answering or returning my calls and will not even answer my emails. I paid him. Now I had to pay someone else to do all of the work he got paid for plus try to undo the mess he made of my case.
My advice is that if you want it done right the first time you should not hire Briley Richmond.
