Canadel Furniture / Bondar Fine Furniture Poor quality and terrible service Louiseville, Quebec

I should have seached the web and read "marieanonymous" report on Canadel and Bondar then I should have avoided wasting money and time. Here is the quotation from "marieanonymous" report and we have exactly same experience except defected furniture is a buffet:

"What a huge disappointment! Purchased an expensive custom-order dining table and chairs at a local furniture store in Calgary (Bondar's)... ... - "too bad, so sad, it's not our problem, it's the manufacturer"... ...  Avoid Bondar's and the manufacturer (Canadel) unless you're willing to gamble on what you get, because neither of them stand behind their product... ...I had bought into a myth that higher end stores and manufacturers actually cared about customer satisfaction. Not sure where that delusion came from but I have learned my lesson the hard way... ..."

We choose Canadel over another brand (which has much nicer design) based on the quality of showroom furniture, but when the buffet (almost $30k) came in December 2010, we were astonished by the workmamship and finishing...I'm 100% sure you can buy something at $500 with much better quality.

Adding to the headache is Bondar's customer services. It was my worst experience dealing with its custumer relationship lady from warehouse... The benefit you go CUSTOME-ORDER is you CANNOT return. After three months waiting, the replacement is expected next week and I will update upon receipt. There are also defect on dinning chair fabric...according to Bondar, this is NOT covered.

I personally hold all planned purchase with Bondar and my suggestion: STAY AWAY FROM CANADEL AND BONDAR. Go choose somebody who stand behind their products and services.
