Canadel Furniture Poor Quality Craftsmanship & No Capacity for Customer Service Louisville, Nationwide

I am going to brief because this pathetic company called Canadel has already stolen too much of my money and time. I paid $4000 for a custom buffet/hutch. Realize if you purchase a custom piece, you are committed to Canadel, because you put down a non-refundable 20% deposit.

The piece came flawed, to the point where I had a list of more than fifteen defects. The biggest flaw was the corner of the buffet, which had a split corner (should have been completely fused). The furniture store removed it from my home and eventually fixed everything.

Just over a year later, I happened to be cleaning and noticed the same corner on the buffet popped back apart. I called the furniture store, and they told me sorry, it was past the 12 month warranty. I contacted Canadel myself, and they had no interest in hearing my story. They told me to go back to the furniture store. This went on for four months. Finally, Canadel begrudgingly shipped me some touch-up paint so I could try and stain the exposed wood. When no one would authorize the piece be properly repaired, I asked Canadel "Customer Service", to be put in contact with a supervisor. They responded back and said supervisors don't speak with customers. They also told me that wood expands and contracts, and that I probably hit the with my vacuum cleaner.

In short, save your $. The quality Canadian craftsmanship that Canadel boasts is an absolute sham. They do not produce quality, and they absolutely do not stand by their product. Once they have your $, they want nothing to do with you. Please learn from my mistake, and save yourself some money and major disappointment.
