i ordered camear from carcameradirect.com on Dec 31, 2013 and received it on Jan 13th, 2014. to my surprise, package showed it was delivered from China. i would never placed order if i knew company is based in China. on their website, the address is listed as

Instead of high quality product as it was advertised I received just a cheap Chinese junk! so i contacted customer server right the way to return. they sent me email instructions to return to Hong Kong! what a mess!! without having any options, i sent it back via USPS and costed me $20. i still not receive my refund 4 months later. i called customer service and the lady said my order status showed refund is already processed. But, i told her i didnt get credit back to my credit card. she said she cant do anything and i have to get in touch with billing department through ticket system on their website. i submitted tickets so many times to their phony ticket system and never got response. i called customer service again and asked if there is phone number for billing department. she said billing department is not reachable by phone. i told her if i cant directly contact billing department, as a customer service, she should be helping to track the ticket. she said she cant help and hang up. This is my first devastating buying online experience. lesson learned and regret a lot that i didnt do research about this company before placing order. i now see lots of complaints about this company and BBB Business Review gave them "F" rating. i feel powerless. i wish my money goes to donation instead of being cheated by this company.
