I have been receiving harrassing and threatening calls from this person for the last year.  He calls me at all hours of the day and week.  He is a man with a very thick Indian accent and even though he gives me different names, I know that it is the same person by the voice.  He is calling from different phone numbers which have different area codes sometime I see two or three different area codes in the same day from him.  He states that I took out a loan from CASH NET of $300 and that I owe him money for this.  When he first started calling me his name was Patrick Hunt from a collection agency in California (916-236-4569), then he was Anthony Daniels Jacob (512-647-2323) and attorney from Morris lawfirm in Texas, and most recently he was Kevin Lee another attorney in a different state with the number 646-504-8341.  SCAMMERS

Do they have a heavy accent?

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 12, 2010

If so,These assholes are calling from India or Pakistan using fake American sounding names, their scam is To scare you into paying a Loan that doesn't exist.

Usually by saying they're Officer(Fake American Name) Obvious clue, the heavy accent, hard to understand, or cannot understand this (American Name) Officer?

Their Game plan is to scare you by threats like "Have the police at your door" or "Warrant has been signed" or "You're in big trouble", "You've committed BANK FRAUD" or similar lies.

They usually say they're from "The Department of LAW and Investigation" or similar scary FAKE NAMES (recently they used United Nations Law Division, and more recently the ACS Law division, and more recently 1st IRS Legal Dept)

You're NOT in trouble, they're just good Liars, Pay them NOTHING, they're only Slimy thieves.

Recently they've been changing names at the speed of light, and they use a telephone relay so they look like they're calling in America, they're NOT.

This is another name, but the same scammers.

OR IF YOU WANT PROOF THEY'RE THIEVES Tell them to send you verification there's any "Debt" at all, if they start screaming at you, that's proof positive that they're just thieves.

When/if they call again tell them they're just thieves and hang up, they can't arrest you, It's just a scam.

Won't do any good...

So many users here have submitted complaints about Karl to no avail. ROR simply does not care what he does.

He was at least somewhat tolerable when he limited himself to BofA threads but since he wasn't getting enough attention there he decided to expand.

There's an old saying - Never mud wrestle with a pig. You'll only get dirty and the pig enjoys it. All of the posting against him only encourages him as he sees himself as somebody going against the establishment to bring justice for the little guy.

He's like the weird uncle that you have to invite over for Thanksgiving. Just try to avoid communicating with him and don't let any of your children see what he writes.
