Central Payment Corp, Central Payment Corp I suggest not doing business with this company Deceptive Sales Contract San Rafael, California

We started a business in 2008 and needed to secure a credit card payment service to process our customers payments. We were approached by one of Central Payment  Corp's sales persons and decieded to sign up for the service. We purchased our own credit card machine to keep our cost down. So the only thing we needed was the processing service.  The sales represenative said that this was no problem. We also went further to ask about the monthly fees associated with using the service which seemed to be fine without the credit card machine cost. We also asked the sales represenative if we could terminate the service at any time she stated yes. We also asked if there would be any penalties if we had to terminate the service she stated no.

Well we sold the business last month and when we attempted to terminate the credit card processing service they stated that we would have to pay an early termination fee of $300 dollars. That's right after having this service for almost three years we would have to pay these jokers. We informed the person that we did not purchase any hardware from them and that the sales represenative had informed us that there would be no penalty if we had to terminate the account. Well to our surprise they are now telling us we have to pay the money. Watch out for this company they will lie and do anything else to get you to sign up and then Ripp you Off in the end.  Find another company that will be honest about what they charge. Don't listen to there sales staff they just want the commission and will be long gone once they get the money. We will never do business with this company again
