Citi will not work with you under no circumstances. they are the bully of the mortgage world now. I have been trying to get out of a 3/1 ARM that I got swindled into by AMC mortgage (Ameriquest). Citi tells me to contact them to try and work something out but yet there is no one to contact that company is shut down. My payment has went up 107 dollars a month and we are going to start falling behind very soon. They say they are just the servicer on the loan and Ameriquest needs to qualify me for a interest rate freeze. Then they said that I don't qualify when in reality I don't think this program even exist. If anyone is ever reading this in the future do not do business. or you will pay literally $$$$$$$$$..
