I've been living in my home for 3 years now. The community I live in is managed by Clagett Management Services. They charge us a yearly fee of $350 for absolutely nothing. We do not have a community pool to manage, we do not have Marie trails, or even a common area. When it snows we don't get plowed out right away and in the summer they only come and mow maybe once every 3 weeks which creates a huge mosquito problem. 

We decided that for the first time in 3 years that we were not going to give them a penny until they could show us where the money was going. Never did. So they put a lien against us etc and the bill went up by $20 a month. Well in June our bill was $400 which was fine but then in July it went up to $590. They never explained how it jumped $190 within a month. 

Weve also been going to them before we decided not to give them a penny about some neighborhood problems we were having. There is a group of juveniles that are destroying the houses on our street. They egg them, key cars, throw fireworks at the houses, and there is constantly a fight going on. The police get called and they tell us to contact HOA (Clagett Management) about what's been going on with them so maybe we can get the problem out of the neighborhood. 

I emailed our rep for the community and her response was that she was afraid of that group. What type of management service is afraid of someone living in a community that they manage. Then I took it to the VP of the company. He claimed I was being threatening when all I asked was for something to be done. Why am I paying them if they can't even control or manage the residence in the community?! 

We sent them a picture of our neighbors partying in the driveway playing beer pong, cussing, throwing glass bottles etc and they decided to send that picture to the neighbors. You could clearly tell it came from our house and they just sent it like that knowing the troubles we were having with the neighbors to begin with. When they sent that it's just been problem after problem. 

Im not giving up on this issue. They need to get what they deserve. I will find a way. But I will never live in development managed by them ever again
