Clicksmart Advertising rip off with zero results. Austin Texas

Clicksmart contacted me in mid-November with an offer that guaranteed 500 or more clicks on our listing (provided by them) per month. Our credit card information was given prior to the completion of the agreement. When we finally received the Terms of the agreement, we found they did not accurately reflect what we were told. By that time, our credit card had been charged. When we asked for proof of results, we were sent a "call list" of phone calls received from our listing via a published number provided by Clicksmart.

A Yellowpages search of the phone number in our listing showed it belongs to another company (A-Affordable Major Appliance Service). We also researched the numbers from the "call-list" provided and found that 99% of the phone calls were from telemarketing firms.

When we brought our concerns to Clicksmart we were told that there was nothing they could do but guarantee us more "traffic" and that we were in a Contract, and bound for one year to those Terms. This Company is a scam and should be investigated.
