CRI &Global Presentations Redemption Center Promise of a Cruise are Untrue and never fulfilled West Palm Beach, Florida

We went to a CRI & Global presentation for a travel club. This Club stated that we would receive a 8 day 7 night cruise for two on Carnival Cruiseline for attending their sales presentation on May 01, 2012 in Orlando Florida. We understood that we would have to pay tax and port charges but, the rest of the cruise was free!

After listening to their presentation, we decided that this vacation service was not for us. There were simply too many red flags; Buy Today, Reduced cost, lifetime membership, reduced cost on travel, all made it sound too good to be true. When we declined their offer, they tried the old price reduction game. Anything they could to get our money. Finally they gavde up. But we were still entitled to our "Free" cruise.They gave us a certificate to mail in for our "package". We filled out the certificate and mailed it "Certified Mail"according to the directions, the next day. The certificate plainly states that they are not affiliated with CRI or Global but a business ownership check on the internet, shows they are owned by the same company.

It also stated that they will not replace any lost or stolen certificates, "for any reason". Imagine my suprise when I recieve an unsealed envelope from the "Redemption Center" with nothing in it. When I called to ask them where the contents were; they stated that; "the cruise information was inside the envelope when it was mailed out and that they could not be held responsible for anything falling out." Also, since they do not replace lost or stolen certificates i ws basically "out of Luck". So I wasted about 2 1/2 hours in a presentation, $14.00 for the certified Mail and whatever it is going to cost me in attorney fees because I am going to file suit against this shady company that takes advantage of people wanting to save money. I am also contacting the U.S. District Attorney to file mail fraud charges against the "Redemption Center".

If you receive a post card in the mail or a call from this company; stay away. They are a complete rip-off. You have been warned.
