What this company doesn't tell you is that you will be charged $87.62 per month: 1) if you don't cancel within the 14 days and 2) if you actually use the trial product to test it. In other words, if you even open the package, you will be charged $87.62. This information is buried in a link at the bottom of the page - terms and conditions - and you have to scroll down the page to find it.
Others have reported that the membership enrollment you joined when you requested the trial offer - yes, once you place your trial order, you are automatically enrolled in their "elite customer club" - also enrolls you in other offers with similar monthly payments. The safest way to ensure that your credit card is not charged the monthly fee is to have your credit card company issue you a new card with a different account number.
This company has placed bogus websites all over the internet claiming to give independent reviews of this amazing new discovery and trial offer. These websites are anything but independent - don't fall for it.
Their practices are clearly deceptive and the Federal Trade Commission needs to investigate. Your best defense against these online scams is to follow the old adage, "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is."

DazzleSmile SCAM

Enough with the canned responses, fake names, and BS concerns. No, you're not getting in the last word here; neither are you going to manipulate Google's search engines with your scam and fake responses. DazzleSmile, you have been exposed for the scam that you are. See below:
MSNBC did a report on companies like DazzleSmile, et al. Here's the link:
http://redtape.msnbc.com/2009/11/latest-web-trap-for-consumers-the-fakeosphere.html
The article reports that companies like DazzleSmile and Beverly Hills Smile are part of a growing internet scam called the fakeosphere. As Sullivan points out, it's the latest internet scam posing as legitimate news and opinion on products when in fact it's all company generated, designed to deceive consumers. The FTC is currently investigating.
The U.S. Senate is now investigating scammers like DazzleSmile, BeverlyHills Smile, etc. Here's a link to the AP report:

IMPORTANT: This company DazzleSmile survives because it expends alot of resource trying to game the Google search engine. Their canned responses to complaints all over the internet are just one example of this. They are attempting to bury all public complaints and outrage concerning their fraudulent practices by manipulating Google and other search engines. Do your part and respond to their canned responses whenever you see them; even responding once will make a difference. We can play the same game... It looks like "Falon Tylor" slipped in the identical pro-forma response as did "Bobbie Miller" - you can't even coordinate on a visual level. Oh well, I'm expecting a letter in the mail soon detailing the class action lawsuit being filed against DazzleSmile. They should be indicted with criminal penalties...

FTC is investigating DazzleSmile
AUTHOR: John - (USA)

I was wondering when this company would respond with its pro-forma response, and from "Bobbie Miller" no less a close relation to John Doe. I realize keeping up with all the complaints is a herculean task for you folks, but at least mix it up a bit.
MSNBC did a report on companies like DazzleSmile, et al. Here's the link: http://redtape.msnbc.com/2009/11/latest-web-trap-for-consumers-the-fakeosphere.html

So I invite "Bobbie Miller" to return and give us "his" thoughts on what it's like to represent a dishonest company that engages in deceitful practices. "Bobbie" how does it feel being a shill for DazzleSmile, an enterprise that deceives people? It's a job right? And "Bobbie" please share your thoughts with us after you've lost your job with DazzleSmile as a result of the Feds shutting your company down.
You may simply see it as doing your job but you're contributing to fraud and thus responsible as well.

Update - additional information
AUTHOR: John - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 15, 2009
Beware that DazzleSmile and BeverlyHills Smile will also enroll you in additional membership plans, each with their own monthly fees. YOU MUST CANCEL THESE MEMBERSHIPS SEPARATELY OR YOU WILL CHARGED FOR THESE PROGRAMS AS WELL. The three membership programs (with toll-free numbers to cancel) are:
World Club Fitness: 1-866-407-3685
Makeover Beauty Secrets: 1-888-286-4285
Weight Loss Secrets Pro: 1-888-286-4294
This company periodically changes its product names and websites to stay ahead of the thousands of complaints, i.e., to minimize the Google search results for their product complaints - clever. This is a classic bait and switch scam that the Federal Trade Commission needs to shut down now.

Correction
AUTHOR: John - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 07, 2009
Correction - according to the terms and conditions, if you return the trial package (opened or unopened) within the 14 day trial period, you can be refunded the $87.62. However, the representative I talked with on the phone said, a refund would only be given if the package was returned unopened. This differs from what the terms and conditions state.
