After seeing a commercial on CNN about Discount Gold Brokers, we contacted them about purchasing gold.  Greg said they could sell us 1oz gold bars.  I told him we would consider it and contact them if we were interested.  In two days he called back.  At the time we decided to buy the gold.  We were transferred to Seth Adam, a supervisor, to conclude the purchase.  He told us Discount Gold Brokers had just purchased a large amount of gold proof coins they had in the vault and thought this would be better for us. We agreed and were told we would receive 33 gold 1/4 oz proof coins but they needed a deposit and the payment before they could proceed.  This was on Friday, August 16, 2013.  We gave them a $100 deposit on our Visa card.  On Monday, August 19, 2013, we mailed the check for $13755.00 to Discount Gold Brokers.  Wednesday morning we got a call from Seth asking where the money was.  We told them to look in the mail as the Post Office said it would be delivered then.  We received an e-mail stated they had received our payment on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.  I have bank statements confirming the check cashed on August 22,2013.

In two weeks when Seth had told us we would receive the coins, I contacted their shipping department, Mike Berman, and was told they had to get the coins, they didn't have them.  I was also told their bank holds the money for five days after a check cashes.  I contacted them at three weeks and was told they were working to get the gold, We contacted them again at four weeks and again the same thing.

About this time our local TV station had a a story on gold scams.  I contacted them again at five weeks and told them I was getting a package ready to take to our local TV station to see if they could help us. This was on Monday 9/30/2013. We were then told our gold coins would be shipped out by Friday, October 4, 2013 and they woiuld also include some GIFTS.  We just want our money back right away.
