east coast fidelity corporation I and my husband was looking to do a loan modification on 101911 we talked to the lady and she informed whe she called that she was assigned to my case but she never did tell me who assinged her, Internet

On Oct 19,2011 I recieved a call from a lady at Fidelity in Rhode Island. She explained to me that she had be assigned to our case., but she never said who assigned her because I know I didnot call Fidelity, I only call Bank of America on Oct 20, 2011 and they were to send us out the paper work for the loan modification. So, we talked and she ask why we need the loan modification she was informed that my husband had  three strokes and I was the only one working and we were trying to save ever penny we had to pay other bills.

After talking to Bank of America we found out that our interest rate was 10.8.75 precert and we were paying 623.33 on a 52,000 home and only 11.25 was to the house note and rest was interest and escrow. She stated she understood so she explanied the program and what I needed to send Fiedelity, then she said this will cost 1,400 and can you make that payment by Friday which was 10/21/11

I told her no because we had no money she said we can make it in 6 payments of 250.00 and the first payment would be Monday the 24th and she stated that I needed to wire and the money and she sent me the information to wire the money. But, I realize I did not do my homework I did not check out the company until today 10/23/11 and after I heard about the rip off. Iam so glad I didnot send any money and we will be calling the office on Monday informing the lady no thanks.  Then I found out that they cannot ask for any money up front for a loan modifications. This company has had serveral complaints with the BBB of Rhode Island.  Do your homework first so won't be part of a scam.  So glad I did.
