I originally purchased 4 books for my College bound student. Three were delivered on August 10, 2009. My son left for College on August 15. I e-mail the Company asking if the last outstanding would be delivered before August 15. They were certain that the book would be delivered on time. The book only arrived on August 19, by which time classes had started and my son had to purchase another book on campus.

I returned the book back on time, but the Company claims that they only received the book on October 10 which is false. I mailed the book on August 20. Surely the Post Office does not take that long to make a delivery.
I called E- Campus to ask then why they only credited me with $5 for a book that I paid $51.00 for. They said that their policy is that all returns must be returned 30 days from the time they ship, this case being August 14. They do not look at post marks. I also asked them to send my book back and they can take their $5 back. They refused to do this as well.

If you call and ask them if they have received a return, their standard answer is wait 30 days. I would be careful with these people. They are dodgy characters intent on making a quick buck on students desperate to buy used books for a cheaper price. I would avoid then altogether. Use BN instead.
I would never ever do bisiness with this Company again. They have lost more than the $46 that they have ripped off me.

ECAMPUS.COM USED COLLEGE BOOKS COMPANY USE DODGY BUSINESS PRACTICES - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM - YOU WILL BE SORRY

AUTHOR: knaidoo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 20, 2010

I originally purchased 4 books for my College bound student. Three were delivered on August 10, 2009. My son left for College on August 15. I e-mailed  the Company asking if the last outstanding book would be delivered before August 15. They were certain that the book would be delivered on time. The book was shipped on August 14 and I was not sent a tracking numner. The book only arrived on August 19, by which time classes had started and my son had to purchase another book on campus. I returned the book back on time, but the Company claims that they only received the book on October 10 which is false. I mailed the book on September 8. Surely the Post Office does not take that long to make a delivery. I called E- Campus to ask then why they only credited me with $5 for a book that I paid $51.00 for. They said that their policy is that all returns must be returned 30 days from the time they ship, this case being August 14. They do not look at post marks. They also insisted that I have a delivery confirmation receipt, which is not stated when you ask for a Return Authorization.

I called the Manager today January 20 and they are not willing to budge any longer. Neither are they willing to send my book back to me.
