EZ-Lube VIP Membership False Advertisement Fullerton, California

Fullerton Ez-Lube representatives are quick to pitch the value of their V.I.P membership, but there isn't anything V.I.P about it. I joined the club a ways from my house at Arcadia and they closed down shortly after. I drove to Fullerton to get an oil change and they were having a special that day. I told the gentlemen I had a V.I.P card and he said, "no problem, just see the representative inside." After the oil change the representative tells me I can't use my V.I.P card when their having specials. That would be understandable had I known, but nowhere on their membership form or inside their customer lounge area does it say that you cant use the card in conjunction with their specials. To top it off, the representative tells me my card had expired. There was no expiration date on the card or even mention of an expiration date at the time of purchasing the V.I.P membership. I noticed a sign in their lobby saying "Get $8 dollars off any oil change service and 10% off on any other preventative service." I asked to speak to the manager, he said I misunderstood the rep that said they would take care of me inside. I had to get that representative to admit he said it. Apparently you haft to purchase a V.I.P card per vehicle. Otherwise if you drive the wrong car to the Ez-Lube shop your out of luck. This is an outrage! If your selling a membership you better be clear if it expires, and make it very clear that it can not be used with other specials. The manager was very unprofessional and the clerk had an attitude after voicing my concerns about my money being wasted on a V.I.P card I never used. Unbelievable!
