Don't do business with these ripoffs. They just want your money and don't care about you. Any company that has to resort to deceptive lies to lure customers is not the kind of company you want to do business with. They LIE and show different prices on their website than what you are actually paying. Hundreds of dollars more than they advertise. I was directed to this site through a friends site.

I had been searching many sites for good airfares and all of the sites I had gone to disclosed the total cost of the airfare including taxes and other charges except this one. This company blodly puts a price in red but does not disclose the additional amounts of taxes and other charges until after you have agreed to buy the ticket. Then when you get your confirmation they have charged hundreds of dollars more to your card. And, since you pay by credit card you're screwed. They make you check a box that you agree to their terms but still you don't know about the additional charges until you get the email.

All the other sites show the fare and then the additional amount of taxes so you know what you are actually paying. Not these ripoffs, they are banking on you thinking that the fare in bold red is the fare you are getting. They don't show any other fare, so one assumes that this is their fare. Then when you get your email confirmation they have down at the bottom that you agree to pay this full amount which is now several hundred dollars more than they advertised. This is deceptive advertising and illegal.

Some good lawyer should shut them down and sue them in a class action lawsuit. There are probably thousands of us out there who have been taken by these ripoff artists. And they will come back and say read the fine print or whatever but who cares. If you are an honest company you shouldn't be hiding fine print anywhere. This company is obviously not honest.

Fare Buzz

AUTHOR: DMLindsayTexas - (United States of America)

I certainly understand the complaint the author was discussing, but, I think she should own up to the FACT that she was/is mistaken.

I use the site regularly for myself and friends, and everytime the fares are shown it clearly states the base price + the taxes and fees, with a total given before booking. When the traveller decides to accept the fare, the site clearly states total price and also suggests the Travellers Insurance package that needs to be (UNCHECKED) before continuing to book. Perhaps this is where the mistake was made.

Some people will always find fault in everyone but themselves!

When it comes to deals in the travel industry, we have a meet or beat policy. We will meet or beat the best price from any airline or travel booking website. When you book through FareBuzz.com, you will see the price for whatever you're looking to book as it currently stands, taxes included. When prices change, that happens through the airline and our customer service team will reach out to the person to notify them of that change and try to help them find another flight if the price change is too much. It is the priority of our customer service team that we find you the best possible deal and that your experience with Fare Buzz is a good one.

While this was posted a few years back, we have gone through our system and have no record of the person listed in the report above. If there is anything that can be done for anyone coming across an issue, please feel free to call us toll free at 888-847-1963.
