Financial Accountability Associates harrassing & threatening phone calls several times a day Annaheim California

I began receiving phone calls at 8:20am on July 20, 2009. A man named Mark Dawson with a very thick accent left threatening messages on both my home phone number and cell phone number. The message stated for me or my retained attorney to return his call the very second I get his message and left his phone number. The message also said that the issue is extremely time sensitive and a gave hotline number to his division as 714-598-4229 which is always busy. He also stated do not disregard this message please return the call. If my attorney or I did not return the call it would become a great problem so save yourself and call him back. He called agaun within an hour and I advised him that I was in the hospital to see what he would say. He became very quiet so I then asked where he was calling from he stated Financial Accountabiity Associates and they were a law firm. I took down his name and number again (it was the same as he left on the voice mail). He asked who i was and for my name. I advised him I was her sister and disconnected the call. I am now waiting to see if they will call back. Now that I am aware that they are scam, I am prepared to confront them about these bogus phone calls. I have already changed my checking account informaition last week because I had a charge attempted for $49.95 with a check# that did not belong to me. I wonder if they are who made that attempt as well because the phone calls did not start until after I changed my checking account information.
