Some one in the Dallas area submitted a request for a Spiegel card using my name and a made-up SSN. When the credit was declined due to the false SSN, FCNB used a skip-trace to find my true SSN, and issued a credit card to a stranger in Dallas, where I have never lived. Then they refused to pay me back all the expenses I incurred to correct the problem, citing, "THese things happen all the time. You'll get over it."
