I emailed "Tom" at flashedphones.net about getting my Evo flashed to boost mobile. He replied almost instantly with information on how the process worked (very helpful) He stated via email, he would flash my phone and give me a lifetime warranty and would repair even if I was the one who screwed it up. (actual words) I sent out my phone via post office to the address they provide ONLY after you make a payment via paypal. 2 weeks later I receive my phone back, (thank god) I was real worried this was a scam and they were gonna keep my phone. I receive my phone to notice the 3G speeds were about 120 to 128kbps which is slower than dial up. Nowhere near 3G speeds. I emailed him when I got home that I was very disappointed with the speeds I was getting (I live in a area with excellent speeds) I asked if I can switch over to Straight Talk instead. He replied yes, and send $45 to set up the account and pay for the first month. The next day I sent off my phone again with a $63 money order $45 for the account and $18 to have my phone overnighted back to me (which it wasn't) I emailed a couple times to check on the progress of my phone and received no answer. Called... no answer, email.... no answer.

After countless emails I finally get a email stating, he was overwhelmed and he needed some info from me. I again let him know what I wanted done via email. Again I checked on the progress and he said he would do it that day and it would ship out the next morning. I finally receive my phone today and to my surprise... nothing has changed. He did nothing to my phone besides do a hard reset. Again I tried to get in contact via email but NOTHING. I tried youtube, he erased my comments and blocked me. He pocketed my money and did nothing. Im just grateful this guy didn't steal my phone

Hey flashedphones.net,

I appreciate you responding to my complaint. I wanted to get this resolved between us and didn't want to air out my complaint via internet. Never meant to hurt your business nor deter any potential customers. I appreciate your honesty as to what happened and I understand these things unfortunately happen when running a business. As far as my phone... no, you never fixed my phone remotely. As I stated earlier, you instructed me to send it back to you with a $63 money order. $45 to set up the account and pay for the first month and $18 to have it overnight back to me. I have the copy of the original money order on 5/21/12. In closing, I just want my money back. Ive gone back to my contract from my carrier and gave up on these "flashed" phones. Lets square up and I will leave definitely come back here and youtube, your website and leave a positive comment. Thanks again for responding

Didn't We Get This Resolved?

What he says in the report is correct this did unfortunately happen. We work very hard to provide the best service we can but from time to time we do mess things up and this was one of them.

That said we service over 400 phones a month and very rarely do we mess a customers phone up.

However I belive that we remotley fixed your phone and everything was working fine on it. If I am mistaken please call or email me and we will fix it right away or at the very lest get your money back to you.

Thanks
