The Foam Factory sold me a defective 1 inch latex mattress topper on 3/2/12.I became aware of this after I brought topper home and could see it better.The holes that are deliberately made in the process of making the latex topper did not penetrate the foam completely,only partly on both sides.These holes are essential for air flow and the ventilation of the latex foam.There are no complete holes in the whole mattress.No air flow no ventilation very hot.I also found many hard clumps of rubber in the foam.Very uncomfortable to sleep on.On 3/7/12 five days after purchase I printed the warranty given on line and took topper to the foam factory for an exchange, repair or refund.I was refused all.No exchange,No repairs and no refund.Their online return policy states a warranty that covers defects due to faulty workmanship or materials est. This company plays on words.Foam Factory says(minor defects and imperfections are normal and do not effect the over all performance of the latex foam).So what ever is wrong with the foam they will consider minor????I've called several companies that manufacture latex mattress toppers and they confirmed that the holes are most essential. The holes must be hollow with no blockage, so air can flow,other wise you just have a solid latex pad with no ventilation.The companies also never heard of hard rubber clumps in latex toppers.The latex topper I had and gave to my daughter had no hard rubber clumps and the holes were not blocked.Plus it's 15 years old and in great shape. This latex topper sold by the foam factory is VERY DEFECTIVE It has no air ventilation and hard rubber clumps through out the topper.You cannot sleep on it.There show room is a getto joke,they had no latex foam to show me or to let me test as they had said in phone conversation.The sales girl behind the counter did not want to show me any product.She just wanted me to pay her while the man in the back wrapped it , put it in a bag and gave to me,like at McDonald's.But I wanted to see what I was buying.She showed me a topper, it had holes, but in turning it over it was all torn and ripped.They showed me a few others .I thought I picked the best one out of the 3 shown.The manager said he can't replace my topper because the ones he has are the ones I've already seen and are no different then the one I have.Guess what the foam factory is going to sell you.You got it, those defective latex toppers. Do yourself right,shop some where else,the foam factory has horrible customer service and they do not honor their warranty.
