Ford Motor Co. ripoff We bought a new desiel F250 super duty truck & ford refused to fix it mistreated and ripped off Dearborn Michigan

We bought a new ford F250 superduty deseil truck in 2001. At 10000 miles the truck went to burning oil, burning to much fuel, and making a loud rattling noise. We contacted ford. We went from one ford repair place to another. We were told they could'nt fix it because we didn't buy it there, they didn't have time or they couldn't find anything wrong with it. this has been going on for about every 10000 miles. We tried calling 800number, there complant board, No results.

We even went through Arkansas lemon law, where the truck was bought nothing. Finally we get a letter telling us to take the truck in to get fixed. After the dealer looked at it ford refused to pay,They put us off until the warrenty has run out, which wasn't anygood to begin with. We have been told the air filter system on powerstroke motors is no good, Allowing dust to get into the motor.runeing the motor, Ford said it was becase we didn't change air filter.

We changed are filter about every 500miles because we work in dusty areas, and didn't want anything to go wrong with are truck, We payed a lot of money for thise truck, and it was are only way to work, school, doctor so on. We have reports showing the filters was change. But that hasn't done any good . Now we have this truck thats no good.Ford won't do anything.It dosn't make you fill very american when a company in your own country can rip you off like this and get by with it.

And were not the only ones you can check the web for trouble with powerstrock ford motors, there is million of people being treated the same way,

Warranty is still valid...even after it expires!

Just to let you know, that federal law on warrantys (yes the feds are the ones who required all auto makers to have at least a 36/36 warranty on new cars) says that if you have brought up an issue BEFORE the warranty expires and it was documented, meaning you took it to the dealership and they wrote up and workorder to check it out, even if they said that nothing is wrong, then they are still liable for the repairs.

I would go to the first dealership you see and TELL THEM to fix it. It doesn't matter where you bought it, ANY Ford dealership can work on it. They just don't want to becasue it's probably something serious that will take alot of time. When warranty work is done the dealership gets paid ALOT less than if it was regualr "screw the customer" work, so they don't like to do it. And of course, after the warranty expires they will make you think that your liable for the repairs...but now you know!
