Just because they are big they think they can sell a car with a system that fails more often than it works.  My 2011 Ford Focus has had issus with Sync from the beginning.  They have rinky tinked it a few times with downloads and it still does not work.  Last week alone I was looking for the Olive Garden I saw it pulled in right in front of it and it told me to keep going I was off route which was crazy I was there and they said to keep going .4 miles then two days ago I was trying to go to DMV I could not get it to accept the addres which is a regular thing then I try DMV it tells me how to go during the drive it says I am off route on route off route on route and I had not even turned off where they told me to go.  I am on the street where DMV should be found it tells me I am at my destination and DMV is still blocks away.  

 

Ford says it is not pefect wow and there is nothing wrong.  It tellls me to turn where there is no street to turn and I would ge driving into a structure.  They know Sync does not work yet they want me to renew it and pay for it and are not even willing to extend it for free.  They area guy Mark is a liar he claims he called me and it rang 20 times yeah on a cell phone no missed calls no voice mail.  There is a lemon law.  The car battery has died a few times, they pulled out m alarm system said that was the problem the last time they found out it was overharging and burning out the battery and replaced the battery.

 

What a hunk of junk this car is and the way Ford treats their customers should be outlawed.  I want to puke when I see Fiona who by the way I know from working at Sunrise Ford, on their commericals saying good things about Ford.  They don't give a rats a*s about their customers it is all about how much money they can get for a system that does not work.  They know there are problems, they told me so and are working with Microsoft to resolve them it has been three years of wrong directions sending me to wrong freeways, etc., Get it together Ford and do the riight thing and don't have the dealer tell me it is not pefect and it works how does it work when I ask for an address an it goes humm I don't understand ....or downloads do not download and it then asks do you want me to read the directions to you.  No I don't then when I am on the route and iti tells me I am off the route and I never left the street I was on how is that working Ford 

 

You had a sales pitch Ford has a better idea here is one Ford fix the problem and give me the sync for free until it works more than half the time.

 

Stay away from Ford and do not buy a car with Sync!!!

 Its called a map. There is also the GPS on your phone. Lets not forget Mapquest and any of the numerous other traveling websites. Sounds like a software glitch. As the SYNC is not intregal to the RUNNING of the car, it wouldnt qualify for the Lemon Law sorry. It also sounds like you need a full reset and redownload of the software. It might not fix the problem completly but it might help. And as stated before you DO have other options on maps.
