FOX Chevrolet rip-off! Baltimore Maryland

On Dec. 28th 2004. This dealership advertised on their website, a 2002 Chevy Malibu, Stock # P16149. Vin# 1G1ND52J02M548937 for 2010 dollars. I called and spoke to a Gabriel Brown, and asked if the car was still available and at that price. He repliied yes and asked when could I come in to see it.

I went in that afternoon, and was given the run around. I was told the car was being cleaned up and would be ready to test drive in an hour. I was told others were interested in the car so he would need a copy of my credit card, License and Insurance card if interested in buying. I asked if he wanted a deposit, he said they don't take deposits. I then responded that if that was the case it should be first come first serve. He claimed to agree but the manager was holing the car for a customer to pickup between 5 and 8:PM.

He called me at 4:57:PM and said if the other person picked up the car he could work something out on another car. While I was waiting to see the car, I noticed another salesperson working with a woman looking to buy a car, and heard him say to her. The price on the internet was incorrect, but he would sell her a brand new car for a better deal. "Sounds Like A Bate and Switch" to me.
