Was looking to getting a personal loan online and filled out a couple applications online and on 9/06 received a call from David Jones of GE Capital Bank offer me a $5,000 loan and to help me improve my credit report by helping me pay off one on my credit cards. I agrred to listen and get the loan from GE Capital Bank. Then today he said I need to send $75 dollars from a Google Card to pay for the credit protection and I have that on all my cards past loans and I did send the cash. After doing that he called and said my stae had froze thew loan and I was required to pay $175 to a the state of CA to get the fund relieased. Went to my bank and ask sone question about this and was told they had not heard anything about something happening thru the state and it sounded like a scam.
