This "land managment" Company refuses to undertake needed maintance to the properties under their care. I have lived in a unit in Sherbrooke QC for the last 6 years and getting anyone at this land managment company to take repairs to the building seriously is boyond impossible.
Below are problems both specific to my unit and general building or other unit issues.
My unit has an improperly attached porch railing that under any sigifigant load may fail,sending anyone who happens to be leaning on it to the ground. My step is improperly attached so that it may slide out from under someone stepping on it. My floor is rippling and buckling into the basment. I have tempary patches over hols in the flooring where the steam heaters used to be, this patch work on the floor is flimsy and could give way if someone steps on it.
General building issues are as follows. Gutter system ment to carry water away from the building is broken in atleast 1 place letting rain fall by my door way. In the winter this water will harden into thick humps and sheets of ice right outside my front door and cause slipping issues. Another unit at my building had a floor failure in the porch when someone stepped on it and their foot went through the floor board.
If you want to live in a dangerous building that is not maintained, then go right ahead and rent from Gestion Matinale. These people are all about collecting your rent while you and your family live in poor conditions.
