In September 2007, I was sold a wireless credit card machine called The Way by Global salesperson, Cheryl Schribner . This was the 2nd machine I was sent because the first machine sent in error was not wireless and I needed the machine for an outdoor festival. It cost me $70 to return the first machine before they would send me the correct one. The second machine they sent did not work and created a tremendous inconvenience as I was selling my wares at a big outdoor music festival and though my husband spent the weekend trying to communicate with anyone from the company who could help us, his efforts were futile.
All of the sales from the first day were rejected because they machine was not working properly and I had to handput all of these many sales through separately after the show and the last two days I used my old hand slide machine and had to manually enter all of these sales after the 3 day show was over.
I returned this machine to the company at my expense but before I could stop them, they had taken 2 of 4 payments from my checking account. The payments were divided into 4 payments of $225 each. I contacted their agent, Katie Struhall who did manage to stop them from taking the last two payments and she informed me that my refund for the original two payments was in process. This was in November.
During Christmas, I sent in over $9,000 in credit card sales to Global Payments as I was afraid of losing my credit card account if I stirred up trouble with them. They managed to take their percentage of my sales but still did not refund the money they had taken.
Last week I again tried to contact the company through their representative Katie Struhall and have had no response.
