GMAC Auto Loans GMAC auto Would you give checking Acct info to Foriegn call center? Phoenix Arizona

GMAC like many other big companies is using FOREIGN call centers. You have no recourse against these foreigners ripping you off once they get your checking account and personal info.

I deal with my local GMAC office but the foreign call center continues to call me 3-5 times per day on my cell phone and even late at night despite my demands they cease and desist from calling. This may be a violation fo the Fair Credit Reporting practices. The local GMAC is aware that I communicate with them, but cannot stop the calls from the foreign center now that they have my phone number. They must be getting a commision therfore they call me insessently.

It is also very annoying when you can barely have a conversation with them due to the delay in the international phone call system and their poor English skills and heavy accent. They use your name every other word in the sentence and drag the call out and out thus running up my cell phone bill. Americans need these jobs, and Americans need their personal info secure.
Shame on American companies expecting us to hand over personal info to a foreigner who cannot be held accountable once they rip you off.

They refuse to tell you what Country they are calling from, but the accent sounds like India, Pakistan or the like, where we cannot trust that our personal info is safe with someone walking in off the street making 50 cents an hour and then disappearing and selling our identity. Has this happened to me? NO, but I belive it is because I refuse to deal with them.

GMAC has been a wonderful provider to me for many years for numerous auto loans, it saddens me that they have fed their customers to these relentless foreigners.
