I called a number from a flyer I got in the mail. I was tired of paying high prices for satellite. I was told the cost would be 59.99 total. I asked several times if there would be any other charges. I was ready to hang up if they added anything. I was negotiating between direct tv and dish. I have a good plan with direct tv and they were willing to give me a better deal to save me. Dish had a better plan and they would lower my bill. Dish won for 59.99 complete. It took four appointments to get it right but I thought anyone can make a mistake. I gave them a chance and they screwed me. I got an additional charge of 49.99 on my credit card. When I called and spoke to Carlos in Huston he said it was a processing fee. I said I was not told of the processing fee. He said you listen to the recording. i told him I did not hear of the additional charge or I would not have signed up.

Hi Elizabeth. My name is Tommy Faust with DISH Network's Executive Offices.

I know it can be frustrating when extra charges appear and would be happy to help explain this for you. The 49.99 you saw charged is a type of activation fee charged when one of our retailers installs your services.

You should be able to contact that retailer for more information about the charge and if anything can be done. If you need assistance finding the retailer, or have any questions you can send me an email at thomas.faust@dishnetwork.com and I would be happy to look this over with you.
