I, too, received a letter dated July 14, 2008 from this company referencing the same ticket number; the same amount of the check ($3,950) and the same lump sum that I won. The differences are that my check was written from a People's Bank - Connecticut checking account; and I was to contact a Brandon Hay or Michelle Derick; and my claim number is RQ-83263.
Isn't it sad that there are people out there who are trying to take advantage of other people. I'm sure there are more than one of us who, when we opened this envelop and saw a check that looked very legimate, wanted to believe that this was acutually real and it would help, financially, to relieve us from the rising economy pressure that everyone is facing.
I will not be contacting these individuals but will continue to read the various updates on this website. I strongly feel that some kind of public awareness on this company is necessary. I wonder how many elderly people have received this letter and are currently being taking advantage financially.

I like many on here received same letter stating I had won $38,000. Out of work, down to last few pennies, boy could I use this.
Check looks very very real, yet I was sceptic. I called number and spoke to Leo Haneshi. Not the most personable person I ever spoke to. This made me leary. I expected a pleasant congrats and more, nope, all cold words.
Then he asked tor claim number, gave same as others on here. He said to deposit check to help cover taxes? Wait I don't owe ant taxes on this money until April 15th, 2009. Why the rush? THEN he said to call back in 2 days for further instructions? Huh? I won, they have my address, send me my money !!!
Yes, unfortunately it's a scam.
Like they say in life, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. My thanks to the others at this site for the tips on this scam. I so wanted to believe it. :(
