Green Tree Financial Group; Michelle Page, Gerald Ray, Gia Lugo Preying on struggling homeowners Newport Beach California

Reading the other reports filed in reference to Green Tree Financial Group feels like deja vu! Our story is exactly the same as all the others. In November of 2013 we were contacted by Gerald Ray telling us that he could modify our mortgage and lower the payments by $200.00 a month, of course I would have to pay a $2095.00 processing fee which we did. After months and months of calling and no return calls we got a letter from our mortgage company that they were denying the request to modify. Several more phone calls requesting reimbursement of our fees were made to no avail. We finally received what we thought was a glimmer of hope! Michelle Page sent me a request for reimbursement which I returned the very next day. That was March 5, 2014 and that is the last time I received any information or correspondance. The request for reimbursement was totally ignored just like all the messages that have left on VM. We have filed complaints with the Attorney Generals of both states (Florida and California) and will continue to do what we have to, to make sure this company doesn't hurt anymore families in need.
