I paid for PC Rescue program through Pay Pal, downloaded the software at Healthy Computer Club site and recieved a receipt from Pen Pal and an e-mail from Healthy Computer Club which contained the registration key and transaction ID. I downloaded the software but it will not accept the registration key, the program keeps telling me that it is an invalid key. I re-entered the number a half dozen times with due attention to the case sensitive nature of the number and go the same dismal result. I am positive that I entered the correct number.
I e-mailed the help address and got an automated reply which was of no help as far as soving the problem goes. Apparently it is impossible to contact a human being at this company. I sent another e-mail to the help address requesting a refund but of course I got the same automated, worthless reply as before. So I guess I am out $29.95.
I would advise anyone in the strongest terms, steer clear of this outfit unless you enjoy frustration and being ripped off. While you are at it stay clear of Pay Pal too, I initiated an inquiry through them and when I entered the requested invoice ID I was informed that they had no record of the transaction. Here again I tried the number several times with the same result. No more software downloads for me!!

It would appear that I have some egg on my face. The registration key cited in my complaint did work after all. However in my own defense I think that healthy computer can assume some of the blame. The registration key is some 32 symbols long, consisting of a combination of upper case letters and numbers, presented in extremely small print. It would be helpful if Healty Computer reprogrammed it's registration key generator to exclude upper case "O"s and "I's". It is next to impossible to tell them from "zeros" and "ones". This is what caused the problem in my case. After much fuming and cursing I finally figured out what was wrong and the program installed properly.
