Hershfield Lending Group I had the same experience as the others have written Baltimore Maryland

I recently went online looking for a personal loan for people with bad credit. I was contacted by a person who said that she was with Patriot Loans Financial. She said that I was approved for a loan of $5000.00. My interest rate would be 8.5% and that my monthly payments would be 157.50 for 3 years.

Due to my credit she stated that I would need to send 5 months worth of payments so that the loan would be insured if I defaulted on the loan. It all started to sound to good to be true.

I asked her to fax me over the loan papers so that I could review them and that I would get back to her. After I took a look at the papers I decided to do some research. I can't afford to be taken and when something sounds to good to be true it probably is.

I typed in the fax number where the loan papers came from and I came across the "Ripoff Report" about Hershfield Lending Group. The details were so similar to what I had received that it sounded like the same scam but they now have changed their name.

I thank all of you for the information and reporting it. To those who were taken for the 787.50 I hope there is some sort of recourse. I would be more than willing to be contacted if I can be of any help.
