We won a bid in homesearch.com and signed contract with seller and gave them the earnest deposit. when we ask for title insurance, they didnt want to provide that. we decided to get our own. couple hours later, we got an email from them stating that they are cancelling the sale due to a motion filed by HSBC bank (who is the bank actually foreclosed the house). Everything in this transaction was very fishy from the beginning to the end including the bank related portion.

Beware of these online auction websites..buy house locally from your local realtors. these website caused me to lost 4 weeks of my time, back and forward signing tons of paperwork and lost other houses in the market.
