For the THIRD year in a row Homeside lending has not paid some of the hazard insurances for my property even though the $ is escrowed. I start a month ahead of the due dates for the policies trying to make sure that the payments are made and everyyear it is the same, some checks go out others don't, no rhyme or reason for which are paid. I fax the paperwork multiple times to the various depts. The current response is "We will send a letter informing you as to our decision in handling the situation." This is once I make it thru the maze to speak with a "service rep". Yes homeside HAS let the insurance lapse.

Homeside wants as much as the cost of insurance to stop escrowing, "we need to make $".

Another thing to watch with Homeside, when thy pay property taxes the discount for early payment is NOT passed on to the homeowner.
