I requested air duct cleaning and furnace check up from Houndstooth. They sent over two guys who came in and did a poor job (still blockage in vents and dusty) I paid too much money for this. I had two other companies come and inspect the job as well as my gas company. All inspections were negative. I called Houndstooth to tell them I need them to come finish the job. The guys who did the job called me asking me why I think they should come back (that was how the question was phrased and with attitude). I told them of the inspections and they said they would come. This is several months later and no one has arrived. No resolution..not even a phone call from the company asking if their technicians took care of anything. Poor service..unprofessional

Being unaware of this website until now, we just now stumbled across this complaint and after exhaustively searching through all of our duct cleaning assignments for the first ten months of 2009, there is nothing remotely resembling the content of this complaint in our files. Before beginning our search through our 2009 data base, I was already skeptical, since what is described in the complaint is the absolute antithesis of our procedure for handling the very, very small percentage of complaints that we do recieve. We follow up immediately on those rare calls and pursue the matter vigilantly until we are assured that our customer is completely satisfied with the outcome. If what is described in this report were our normal way of doing business, there is no way we could keep our most excellent record with the Atlanta Better Business Bureau. We are the largest carpet and upholstery cleaning company in Atlanta doing thousands of cleanings a year, and in the past we have uncovered false negative reports from competitors who are possibly envious of our success. Either that, or the one filing this complaint has us confused with another company, which has also occured frequently in the past. However, if we are incorrect, I invite the person who lodged this complaint to call me at 770-326-6244 and we will attempt to rectify matters.
