This software package is supposed to be a child protection type product similar to NetNanny or CyberPatrol. The real protection should be for the buyer!
I ordered the product and specifically paid extra to have the hard copy CD sent to my home. Email confirmation of my order from tybeeware@aol.com said software would ship in about 48 hours. This was Oct. 26, 2000 and I still have no product as of Jan. 7, 2001. I contacted them several times via thier support page and all my requests for help were ignored. The company website is IamBigBrother.com and there is no method to contact them except through their online support form....Beware of all companies like this as you have no record of your correspondence!
Credit card was charged immediately and the company was Newman and Associates. I am trying to dispute the charge through MasterCard, but don't have a resolution to date.

I used to work for this company and let me just say, the software is a total rip off. About half of the functions the software claims to do flat out doesn't work. It takes MONTHS to update the program when new software comes out that we currently "support". And it's all laziness! When he does get around to it it'll take him a couple days.
And forget it if you want a refund! The website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed and is a TOTAL JOKE! People would wait months for a website malfunction that double charges them to get a refund!
The worst insult of all - after lying to people on behalf of the owner, promising we'd get back to them, etc, etc... I go away for 3 days for my wedding, come back, bust my behind to finish answering over 200 emails and he cuts off all communication. Not a word, doesn't pay me for the last two weeks of work, nothing! Just takes off.
Lesson learned, you work for a scam artist and you'll get scammed.

Big Pain to Get Rid Of .. software is a trojan horse

I just downloaded the trial version of iambigbrother yesterday 3/23/2004. I decided I didn't want it because it wasn't able to monitor my e-mail. I went to uninstall it and there is no uninstall program!!!! I bought Pest Patrol which claims to get rid of it and it couldn't !!
Iambigbrother is still taking internal snapshots of everything I do and logging it in a folder that even after it is removed it comes back onto your computer. This software is a trojan horse you can't get rid of by design.

I originally purchased I am bigbrother in 2000. I just purchased the download. I had to reinstall my operating system probably 2 times since then and had requested for them to send the download to me. No Problem, it was sent within 24 hours.
November of 2003 Ihad to reistall my operating system again and requested for the download, after 4 weeks of e-mailing them, I never heard a response back. So I had to purchase it again.
January 2004 I got a virus that locked my operating system up and had to reistall again. Since I purchase this the 2nd time I didn't think I would have any probelmds getting the download.
Now 2 weeks later I am still waiting for it. I trusted this product and the company with my bank account twice and this is what I get. Is this what I should expect from other companys that offer software to download off their webiste?

I just ordered IamBigBrother and I received my order promptly and with no problems by Feb 19, 2002. Delivery was immediate. I cannot verify the performance of the product since I just got it. But the delivery was very prompt. I'm sure the Owner would accomodate the angry customer if they would contact him.
