trying to use the webcam services of ifriends as a guest i gave my debit card info for age verification. I got accidentally to a window they call "live cam spy" and i didn't notice that it had written with small letters that they charge 1.99 per minute there.  About a week after that I found that my account had been suspended. I asked them by email about it, they toldme that my bank had denyed the payment and that i shoul pay the charges in order to activate my account but they didn't tell me how much were those charges and i never could see my balance statement. There are two things here, first they don't give you a explicit notice when you are gonna be charged, so read the small stuff and second they were trying to charge my debit car an amount that they never let me know how much it was. So i forgot about this web site and about a month after that i got notice from my bank that somebody was trying to make some purchases on line with my debit card, i'm almost sure that it was someone from i friends who stole my debit card information and tryed to make a fraud with it. I use my credit card just to make payments in big stores for food or someting like that and this never happened to me before. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one. So be careful when you use that web site and read the small stuff.

Verifying age via Credit card????

AUTHOR: Righteous1 - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, March 10, 2012

Seriously you honestly think that handing over a credit card is for proof of age???? Okee dokie....you need help sunshine.  A credit card has no age ID on it or terms that as a user you are X age.
Do appreciate your overall message though,,,which is READ the fine Print /Terms and Conditions page. Use of credit card information should only be used by TRUSTED SITES.  You just learned econ 101 and fraud protection, sadly it cost ya for that lesson.
