Innovative Merchant Services RipOff Scheme Catabasas California

My mother was lured into a Innovative Merchant Solutions contract by a high pressure sales pitch from National Grants people. She paid a price to get started and they withdrew cash from her checking account until it was depleted a year later. Then they began sending threatening letters that they will destroy the credit of the person on the contract (which was dad not mom..... yes he signed nothing) unless they pay this $405 total for some fee plus the early termination fee. Innovatative never provided any equipment, software or solution. They simply took her money and continued taking it until there was no more to take.

It seems to me that it would be obvious to Innovative that if no one used the account that their was some problem. I read of many other complaint about them doing this and they use the excuse that it was some sub company selling their service that did this.. It is still their service that was sold. The correct thing to do would be to understand that this person was pressured into this contract and give them a break. Ecspecially once they have been aware of the situation. But no.... they continue to have a policiy to harrass and threaten to collect this "fee".

Avoid these kind of people. The only since of fair business they have is when they are making money on you.
I'll add that it is preposterous to think that $395 is a fair price to cover their costs of setting up your account (which is supposebly why they charge an early termination fee.) They have no hardware or software involved and have simply run a credit check that anyone can do for $5.
