Intellidebt THEY STOLE MY MONEY!! Syosett New York

I started out as a client of Ameridebt back in 2003. Ameridebt became Intellidebt in 2007. This company was suppose to be not for profit and they have charged me $30 a month for the last 5 years to handle my accounts. I have lived with that because they offered to give me my first payment (which they keep) back as an "incentive" for completion of their debt management program. I completed the program in November 2008. When on called on Monday, December 1st, I was told that my payment was processed on November 26th and I would receive it within 7 - 10 business days. Today, is day 11 and I called to find out if maybe it had been returned. I was told that I was not eligible to recieve it because one of my creditors was removed back in Septemeber of 2008. When the creditor was removed, I ASKED the representative if it had any effect on getting my incentive payment back and I was told by him that because the creditor was active that it would not be a problem!!! After being a loyal, perfect customer for so many years, I am shocked and uphauled by the behavior of this company. Their customer service agents will get you to break your agreement so they don't have to pay that money back. The funny thing is, they aren't even consistent with what they tell you they do with that first payment. They told one lady is was for "operational costs". Right!!!! It makes me sick that I have had a relationship with them for so long! I am going to fight this!!
