I purchased (5-12-08) a software program PDF CREATOR through http://www.epdf2008.com/index.asp the following problems developed,

This company www.interactivebrands.com operates other websites, http://www.epdf2008.com/index.asp http://www.pdfpro-2008.com/ http://www.pdfcare.com/index.asp and many more web stes

1. I was charged more than the website suggested. Three year license for the program at $13.00+ change should have been charged a total of approx. of $40.00+ the bill on their final receipt showed $69.14 (They included a word processing program for some $18.00 which I didn't ask for) Still I didn't argue the point,

2. 5-14-08, I tried to do the installation of the PDF Creator program. (I didn't care much for the second word processing program so I left it alone) When I tried to open the program PDF CREATOR this program has some kind of spyware built into the program and it tried to spider my computer files. (better known as "phishing") I was able to recognize the problem even before I activated the program due to safeguards in my computer by reputable companies like Windows and Norton, etc.

3. I immediately sent a technical support ticket to this "company" (http://www.epdf2008.com/index.asp) asking for an explanation as to why the program (PDF CREATOR) was trtying to get to my files.

4. I then tried to do some research on this company through ALEXA (information for webmasters)

Further, I don't want this software because I don't trust the program (PDF CREATOR) these people are not reputable.

They finally agrred to a refund of $69.14 minus handling of 9.95 = $59.19

They never sent the refund.

After calling the company repeatedly for the refund and they said that the refund would be credited to the credit card account. I'm still waiting for the refund 6 months later. Hundreds of people have filed rip-offs complaints and cradit card fraud against this company all over the Internet

First and foremost, Interactive Brands is a third party company. We handle the customer support for over a thousand different websites.

When you were choosing your membership there were preselected boxes offering highly recommended software, in order to decline this software you needed to uncheck the boxes. Before processing the order, your purchase details were listed and you must have then clicked on submit in order finalize the purchase.

There were a few glitches in the PDF program and the technicians have worked very hard to remove all glitches and now the program is working better than ever.
