I ordered a free standing mixer on Dec 1st from Invites.com and they told me it should arrive by Dec 8 - 11.
When I did not received my Dec 12th I tried to notify to find out when I could recieve my mixer, as it was a Christimas Present for my sister, but after responding the their email address - Invies.com - my message failed.
Then I started looking on the internet for Invies information or phone number but there wasn't anything, then I came across the "Rip Off Report" from other people who had been ripped of from Invies.com.
They asked me to pay through Amazon.Com using voucher numbers. Couldn't figure that out for awhile then I did. Payed Amazon with a credit card, now I'm out $50.00.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You're smarter than you think...

I've been reading the rip off reports for invies.com and the one thing I've noticed in them all is that people were suspicious or confused about the method of payment - trust yourself. Trust your gut instinct. You already know if you're an honest or dishonest person - you don't know if someone else is.
If it seems suspicious it probably is. There is no (honest) valid reason for anyone to instruct you to purchase a 3rd party payment option for goods - Amazon cards/codes, Green Dot cards, etc. Accepting those methods of payment is different than telling you to acquire those methods of payments.
I'm sorry that you and everyone else were ripped off - it's unfair and you didn't deserve it. By sharing the story you're helping to put these people out of business by reducing their customer base - innocent victims.
