I place an order with Jafrum. It doesn't really matter what it was, the fact is a made a mistake in the size. I realized this within minutes of placing the order. Well, it was at night, and the company is closed. So, I immediately registered my mistake using their automated reporting system on their website. I thought surely they'll read this before the order is prepared for shipment.

The next morning I woke up and tried to call them. They were closed, they are an hour ahead of me. So, I sent an email to explain my mistake. I did not get any response, other than my order was completed. So, I waited until they were open and called them. I was greeted with a customer service person and explained the mistake I had made and wanted to simply change the size before the order shipped. The girl said, 'it's in our automated system and we can't change it'. I'm like, "what do you mean?" She said, sorry, it can't be done. I said okay, then cancel the order and I'll reorder (which is standard procedure with almost any retailer you will find). She said, that can't be done either. So I said, "you're telling me I am stuck with it, and you can change it?". She said, "Correct". I told her that was a bunch of crap and let me speak with your supervisor.

So, she put me through to another woman who basically confirmed the same thing. I screwed up, I'm stuck with it, and I can return it after receiving it for an exchange. That was stupid. It hasn't even left the facility and they can't call the guy in the warehouse to make a change? This is racketeering as far as I am concerned.

I have now filed a complaint with the BBS in N.C. (BTW they have 41 complaints on the past 36 months...how pathetic). So, stay away from JAFRUM INTERNATIONAL INC. They will NOT serve the needs of the customer...only their bank accounts.

According to JAFRUM policy, any changes to your order must be completed prior to 'processing' the order. I made 3 attempts to contact the company before the order was 'processed'. Their automated online system is used to send messages to the company. I utilized this system to first report the problem within minutes of placing my order. I replied to the email which cofirmed my order was in 'processing' status, meaning not yet complete. And then I called the company as soon as they opened to get the order changed BEFORE it was processed and sent to the warehouse. It would appear, JAFRUM is using a system to trap complaints and/or problems, ignore them or fail to respond, and then process orders and claim that 'according' to policy, you (the customer) failed to meet the deadline for any changes and have absolutely no recourse. This sounds like a racket to me to avoid any returns, chargebacks, or any loss to the company whatsoever.
