I was recruited by James McCorkle as a shareholder/partner in a energy/communications/healthcare sector holding company focused on working with tribal governments. I met him through a trusted mutual friend who I believe was also eventually ripped off by Mr. McCorkle.
Early on during the year I worked with this company - Tribalinx - Mr. McCorkle had major financial challenges. His belongings were about to be auctioned from his storage unit because he couldn't pay the bill. He couldn't pay the deposit or rent on a apartment. His son needed transportation to Alaska for a job on a fishing boat.
Thinking he was a decent person experiencing tough times, over several months I sent him $976.00 (wired Western Union from a Rite-Aid) to save him from the storage unit forfeiture - $1,337.00 (wired from MoneyTree) for apartment deposit and rent - and $750.00 (bank-to-bank transfer at a branch of his bank in Seattle) for his son's flight and for other needs. I believe I loaned him an additional $250.00, but I can't locate the record for that transaction. In any case, he owed at least the $3,063.00. He paid $200.00 during year one, so he owes $2863.00. If a Washington state court could find him and make him pay he would have to pay 7% for each of the last four years, which equals an additional $200.41 per year X 4 years ($801.64).
James McCorkle owes me $3,664.64 as of this summer 2015. He refuses to answer emails and phone calls or texts and has ignored my attempts to get an address for more than a year.
He is a liar and a cheat and I would advise against anyone doing business with this man. If he has a reply to this report it will be a lie. I have the records to prove it and witnesses as well.
Enough said...

Response to a Situation Which Was Unfortunate But Resolved
AUTHOR: James McCorkle - (United States)

TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN RELATING TO MY TIME IN SERVING TRIBAL NATIONS VIA www.tribalinx.com
1. At no time have I ever had anything auctioned off or lied to anyone as it relates to any business venture in my 25 plus years of doing business. I am a person who has attended courses at the University of Berkeley, Haas School Business and served the US Army as a Non Commissioned Officer and am now a disabled veteran relating to injuries sustained during the course of my service and discharged honorably.
2. Ted Wright was not recruited versus a gentleman named Henry Cagey asked our company to hire Ted after Tony Herrera my President received a call from Henry to join our company after our team had successfully designed aninnovative waste to energy project with the assistance of Dale Barnhard and Bob Bambery whom I met during a sustainable energy project involving the City of Las Vegas. Ted worked with our company after he moved on as the GM for the Lummi Nation. During the course of our partnership in a Las Vegas Corporation we began our Standing Rock Tribe Engagement and had positive feedback from the Lummi Tribe. Ted volunteered on his own to provide money to both me and Tony Herrera who has been my partner since 2009 he can be reached at tony@tribalinx.com for any follow up. Ted told both of us that he had some extra cash from a severance package and at the time my son was taking a job at Trident Seafood in 2009 or 2010 where he still works to this day. I used some of the money to pay for his travel to Alaska where he was to start his job.
Ted told me and Tony at the time that he did not need the money immediately and we could pay him back as we could. I had been the main investor and had paid for the initial start up capital to get the company formed and off into the energy projects which the Lummi Nation sought our team to figure out what we could do while Henry Cagey was the Chairman and then after he lost an election we continued to pursue when he asked to join our firm.
3. After 6 months when it was found that we had been approved to move forward and were preparing to kick off the project I found that an individual in our company, whose name I will not mention as this is the past, offered the project to another investment group via our tribalinx.com email and we terminated the individual and then focused all of our efforts and attenion on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribes 100% owned by the Tribe Cellular and Broadband Network EDA Project. Teddy Wallace a grant writer at the Puyallup Tribe referred us to this project because Miles McCallister the GM of the firm inheritted a 2G network which cost the tribe what you would have paid for a 4G network.
4. From 2010-2011 we provided pro bono services to help the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe recover from a tremendous amount of financial investments lost in their network. With the lead work of Tim Strueber (tim@c360inc.com), we got awarded a grant to build a 643 sq mile Broadband Network from the EDA and I personally invested a good sum of my share of the profits to get the needed FCC $3.6m grant to help get the appropriate amount of spectrum to bring the cellular company up to standard when we found some unusual cellular network billing data that predated our time with the company on the switch and were terminated. I tried to resurrect the deal and sold the cellular company opportunity to a new venture formed with Sam Wafaa aka Osuma Karawia and we formed US Solutions.
5. While working at US Solutions I secured several lucrative contracts for implementing LED Light bulbs for both the City of Fresno and Berkeley Bowl and tasked Sam Wafaa to pay Ted Wright from my profits while I was focused on launching new customers. For over 1 plus years Sam Wafaa refused to send the appropriate payment which, as I would be, got Ted Wright angry. Out of anger he posted this just before I departed US Solutions to reengage the market. Within the first week of my departure I not only paid Ted his loan, I also paid interest to ensure he was made whole.
The following is a copy of the content from a letter Ted Wright wrote for me:
January 08, 2017
James McCorkle(((REDACTED)))Albany, CA (((REDACTED)))Mr. McCorkle et al: I write to confirm that all debts and obligations owed to me by James McCorkle have been paid in full including an amount agreed upon for interest. I further confirm and accept that the debts and obligations would have been paid in a timely manner had it been in Mr. McCorkle’s power at the time to do so. Comments I made online with regard to McCorkle’s business practices or trustworthiness were motivated by my reasonable and warranted frustration at the time. Thank-you for your time and attention in this matter, which is now closed.
Sincerely,
Ted A Wright(((REDACTED)))Marysville, WA (((REDACTED)))360-391-7288
