Kaufmans Wedding World ripoff FORMER EMPLOYEE KNOWS WAY TOO MUCH!! Frederick Maryland

I truly "feel" for all of the people who have been SCREWED by Kaufmans.

As a former employee, I can tell you all things that would make you Scream!!! For one, "special" order bridal gowns that were ordered in ivory or a shade similar are dyed in some of the mgrs. BATHTUBS!!! And when you pay extra for refurbishing/ cleaning of a gown, it's usually just thrown in someones washing machine!!!

I cannot tell you how many times on a Wed. nite we would get URGENT faxes to rummage through our stock so that orders could be filled for that weekend. Those were "special orders" that girls paid good $ for and the Kaufmans were filling those orders from the USED, DIRTY, sometimes RIPPED samples the various stores had. When a dress came into our store we had to "make the dress appear as new as possible" & just hope that it would be acceptable to the customer.

Looking back over the time I worked there, I have to say that I'm amazed that the Kaufmans stayed in business as long as they did. Oh wait, they are still going to have a flourishing business as soon as all this bankruptcy stuff vanishes according to ALL of the Kaufmans. HA! HA! HA!

Any way I am utterly embarassed to have been an employee there as long as I was. To all those that have been SCREWED by the Kaufmans,employees included, their day will come...
