My name is  Paula Salcedo, I am an employee of Herbert Davis and Legal NCAI. Working as an attorney for Herbert Davisover the last eight months, I have heard too many people cry over their financial losses thanks to Mr. Davis
. I will not stand for this any longer!

If you are a current customer of Herbert Davis, my advice to you is close your account and get a full refund. Nothing good will ever come out of his debt program and nothing good has ever come out of this law office. To all past clients that have been victimized by Herbert Davis my heart goes out to you, if you still feel wronged about being ripped off then please contact the California state bar and file your complaint against Herbert Davis.

Once again, I am sorry to all the clients that have been ripped off, all of you deserved better.

There are simply not enough words to describe the filthiness of this ENTIRE industry as a whole.  There are NO good debt settlement companies, like there are no good bank robbers, good drug dealers, good rapists, or good seria murderers.  The entire industry is predicated on encouraging the consumer to default on their credit cards, so that such creditors
can renegotiate the terms.  Of course, you pay them to handle the extortion portion of service, dealing with the creditors, and all the while, they do nothing for you that you could not do for yourself. 
Forget about BBB ratings, they are a crock.  Reviews are often written by the company, for themselves.  If you see a review from any debt settlement company, supposedly written by a happy customer, especially if they write specifics like, "They helped me save over 15K in credit card debt, thank you ABCDXYZ Debt Settlement Company", I guarantee it's totally fake.
 
In summary, do as you will, patronize who you want, but if this rebuttal is not enough to convince you, you are a deserving victim.
If you really knew upfront the true consequences that came with hiring Herbert Davis as your debt settler you would never hire this clown to start with. All this guy does is collect your money and pay a small portion of it to the credit card company on your behalf. Once you get sued by the creditor his solution is that you have to go to trial and fight the credit card company at your own expense because he is not your attorney but is your debt settler? Like WTF does that mean? He throws his title of an attorney when he promotes himself but your SOL when you get sued? This is nothing but a scam and by making you sign your life away with his retainer contract you give up any right to file criminal charges against him, at least that's what he thinks for now. I have the audio type of an attorney who works for Herbert Davis giving me advice on how to defend myself when I go to to trial in which I got completely obliterated. The best part about the tape is that the California Bar didn't find it so funny when they realized one of their attorneys was practicing law out of state giving me advice over the phone. Anyone who is hiring Herbert Davis or has hired him, just know one thing, he will not be around for too long. If you're making monthly payments to this guy still may I suggest you pull all your money out immediately!!! The FTC will be shutting him down soon and all your money will be frozen!! Just a fair warning.
