Lease Finance group, refuses to accept back or replace my obsolete and broken credit card equipment. Due to this I stopped making payments on the equipment. Since I am not going to pay for broken equipment.

Due to this fact, Lease Finance has begun calling me 8-10 times a day, trying to collect. I advised them via fax , certified letters, and telephone messages, to no longer contact me. Since they only wish, to collect their monies and not make their equipment right. Since sending the last letter ,I have recieved 50 plus phone calls from them.

I have filed complaints with the BBB , Illinois Attorney General in regards to this activity.

Your complaint lists the company that is calling is the same company that is the creditor. If this is true, they can keep calling as they would be first party collecters. First party collectors are not bound by the FDCPA.
