This company had a sales man con me in releasing my medical info. then contacted my doctor to order a unit i did not need. When my medical insurance refused to cover it. They billed me. I contacted them 4 times since. Requesting a shipping label. On this last time they gave me an address to ship back to,of course at my own expense. They also refused to credit my account for the item is returned. They said they i would qualify as a hard ship case and i would only have to pay 10.00 for the 210.00 dollar item. Which i did not want or need in the first place. They thought i was going to give more personal info out, like my checking acct or bank acct info. I have been there did that, not falling these scammers again. I am going to blog and report this company to all, including BBB, and attorney general.

SCAM

AUTHOR: Fraud is wack - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 09, 2010
There is no way that first rebuttal is an ex employee, it is simply someone from their upper managment posing to be one. Does anyone else find it ironic this post was from Oct 09' and the so called 'ex-employee' wrote something in April, and then only a week later a compliance officer from the company writes something. Hmmm, coincidence I think not!

This company is scummy and scams people just like all the other DME companies out there. This competitive bidding needs to hurry into effect so we can put this business and all others like it out of business. What this person has described happens to people every day at this company. Not only does this company scam patients but it also scams its employees. DO NOT do business with this company.

LIE

AUTHOR: Fraud is wack - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 09, 2010

This first rebuttal is obviously a lie, any ex employee of Life Quality knows its a scummy company and wouldnt defend the company. Life Quality does things like that all the time. Sometimes when a person does return an item, they do not refund medicare. They are just another DME company that needs to be put out of business with the new medicare competitive bidding program. Issues like these happen on a daily basis, just finally someone took the time to write about it.

POSTED: Wednesday, April 07, 2010

Life Quality is an accredited provider with Medicare and other government payor sources and as such abides by all federal, state and local regulations required to conduct a DME/Pharmacy business.

Consistent with Medicare guidelines, we have a very active compliance program in which mandatory adherence to the policies and procedures is a requirement for employment.  Our company and staff take any customer grievance very seriously and handle them with the utmost priority.  Our customers are, and have been, very satisfied with our complaint and resolution protocol.

I cannot personally address the  concerns of the original complaint posted on this website because I have no means of reviewing their account.  I would be very happy to listen to their complaint and be able to offer a resolution to their satisfaction. My contact information is listed below.

Life Quality Pharmacy

AUTHOR: chopman - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 01, 2010

I am a former employee of the company and felt it necessary to rebutt this persons claim.  Life Quality Pharmacy records each and every telephone call and if you did not order the product the sales person would have been disciplined which usually meant fired as Medicare audits their calls frequently and they wouldn't want to be closed down due to some moron.  If you hadn't ordered it why did you give them out your personal information?  Why didn't you refuse the shipment when it came to your door?  Furthermore, your doctor has to approve the device for your use before they even send it out so obviously it was something that you were possibly needing.  If you sent it back to them at your cost, didn't they tell you that you would be re-imbursed for the shipping?  That is the normal procedure.  My guess is that you ordered a devise probably an Erectile Dysfunction device judging by the price and either were embarrassed for ordering it or got in trouble with the wife.
