BEWARE OF LINKEDIN !! I was a client since 2002 and built a network of over 200 business associates when recently I received a notice of my account suspension. I attempted to inquire as to why and discovered startling facts I was not aware of.

Linkedin has no customer service to speak of -- they operate strictly by email (when they feel like it) In most cases, you will be ignored. No one bothered to offer or suggest how or explain why my account was suspended.

Linkedin changes the rules without notice. The new rules do not allow (Do Not Know You) DNKYs. When they were trying to build their business members were allowed to network and not be penalized if someone sends back a DNKY. Isn't the point of Linkedin networking? Apparently, the rules have changed. I sent out perhaps five inviations to colleagues and associates within the past two years. I suspect Linkedin is short of server space and are trying to eliminate their client base. They sure are accomplishing this as they have created a fast growing backlash against them.

Try Plaxo or another company. If you value your contacts DO NOT rely on Linkedin. If you think I am kidding try reaching their "customer service". I tried for a month. No reply EXCEPT they cancelled my membership. No Explanation. Unbelievable.
