Andrew McMillin answered an ad to help me unlock a file encrypted with a password.  He was fast but seemed a little naive.  He said several times he was not worried about the money.  He did ask the same questions repeatedly.  Within a half hour he was done and paid and I said if I need your help again I would call.  It turned out I did.  I had a client whose website needed some editing and I needed additional pages and links created.  So i thought i would give him a chance.  I told him what I needed.  We had several, several conversations.  He again asked the same questions over and over.  But from the very beginning I told him that the only way I would hire him was if he understood that my client had no money.  And we would pay him as the money came in.  I assured him I would meet his price if he would be willing to work with us.  All agreed we moved forward.  He charged me $75 to edit the original site, which he did not do.  Then he asked me to pay up front so he could pay his rent, even before i agreed to his terms, and quickly, it was the night before Thanksgiving.  A few days later I asked about the editing, he said he would do it but charged me again for his time. And then from there he got obsessive.  I said that i was ready to move forward and my partner would give him the content needed.  I would submit for payment to the client and he should get the payment within a week or so.  The calls, emails and harassment started.  threatening to shut down the site; going to take me to court; telling me I stole his work, telling me he was out of pocket all his money because he already paid someone else to do the work.  It just kept going.  Then he started adding that he has taken many people to court to sue to get paid.  At one point in the beginning he asked me if I could help him because he can not get clients and i can see why.  Do not attempt to work this person.  He seems seriously unable to handle normal business relationships and his first defense is what he will do to retaliate to you if you do not comply with his demands.  His last email says, "The site will be shut down.  I will give you till Friday to pay me."  He claimed I as a customer had no right to pay him as I stated even though he accepted it from the onset. Furthermore, I never once stated he would not get paid nor did I say I would not pay the double price he charged me.  He also claims that he never asked me to pay him so he could pay his rent.  This person is not stable and not worth working with especially for the obsessive behavior.  He called or emailed me 17 times in a 9 hour period.  i answered him a few times telling him i was not available because i was working. After all of his insults i find that his editing on the website is incomplete and he had the audacity to ad his tag signature stating he created the website himself.  WEhen I asked him about this he tells me I am trying to play games he he won't stand idle for that.  I have hired some else to make the correct changes to this site and remove his name, this person, ANDREW McMILLIN, needs to be stopped.
