CONSUMER ALERT! Citizens of South Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Susanville and other areas bordering Nevada that receive Reno television broadcasting or cable advertising to their homes.

Luxury Bath of Reno, formerly Re-Bath of Northern Nevada, owned by Alan Hansen of Reno and Michael Laub of North Carolina, routinely sell one day bath remodeling to homeowners in California without being licensed with the contractor's board, leaving them little protection if a worker should be injured on the job, or if the work is not completed.

I have proof of the jobs they have installed in California. The Californa Contractor's Board would like one or more of the hundreds of homeowners they have sold to come forward with a formal complaint to aid in the prosecution of Mr Hansen and Mr Laub.

Alan Hansen and Michael Laub also own and operate Luxury Bath of Boise and Luxury Bath of Spokane.

AUTHOR: Come clean - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, February 06, 2010

I regret posting this. I was employed by this company until June of 2009, and there was a dispute over sales commissions when I resigned. The combination of a poorly written sales commission policy and a lack of communications on both sides resulted in emotions rapidly mounting, and things were said out of anger instead of fact. It took a few months for tempers to cool; and once they did the issue over sales commissions was resolved fairly quickly and simply. Both parties learned from this, and have now gotten past the anger and frustration. This company does not break any laws, and I regret implying that they may do so. The company is fully licensed and insured; and in fact has an excellent track record of quality and customer service. The only problem I ever countered was a disagreement over its sales commission policy, and that has now been resolved to both parties mutual satisfaction. You should not have any concerns doing business with this company; they really do a very good job.
